TL;DR
You can buy event tickets in Ghana with Aspec Hub by dialing your event's custom USSD code shared by the organizer. This takes you straight to that event, so you do not need to scroll through a general USSD menu. Then select your ticket type, enter your details, pay with mobile money, and receive your ticket confirmation.
Why USSD Ticket Buying Matters in Ghana
Buying tickets should not be hard. Yet many people still miss events because the ticket process is slow, unclear, or too dependent on internet access.
That is why Aspec Hub USSD ticketing is useful.
With the Aspec Hub USSD code *920*314#, event-goers can buy tickets from almost anywhere in Ghana using a mobile phone. You do not need to search for a long link. You do not need to download an app before you can start. You simply dial the code and follow the steps.
This matters because Ghana is a mobile-first market. DataReportal's Digital 2026 Ghana report shows that Ghana had 41.8 million active cellular mobile connections in late 2025. That means many people already use mobile phones daily for calls, payments, messages, and online services.
USSD also works well for people who may have poor data, low phone storage, weak internet, or no smartphone app installed. The International Telecommunication Union notes that USSD and STK services can work across smartphones, feature phones, and basic phones, making them useful for wider access to digital services.
For event organizers, this means more people can buy tickets. For event-goers, it means less stress.
What Is the Aspec Hub USSD Code for Tickets?
Aspec Hub supports two USSD access options for ticket buyers:
General access code: *920*314#
Custom event access code: Shared by each event organizer
For the fastest flow, use the custom code shared for your event. It opens your event directly and removes the need to browse through multiple events in the USSD menu.
How to Buy Event Tickets with Aspec Hub USSD
Follow these simple steps to buy your ticket:
1. Dial the Event's Custom USSD Code
Open your phone dialer and enter the exact custom USSD code shared by the organizer for that specific event.
Then press the call button to launch the ticket flow for that event.
Make sure you have a good mobile network signal before you start. USSD sessions can time out when the network is weak or when you wait too long before selecting an option.
2. Go Straight to Ticket Purchase for That Event
Because the code is already tied to your event, you do not need to scroll through a long list of events first.
Follow the prompt to continue directly to ticket selection.
3. Pick Your Ticket Type
Many events have more than one ticket type. For example:
- Regular
- VIP
- VVIP
- Early bird
- Student ticket
- Couple ticket
- Group ticket
- Free registration pass
Choose the ticket type that matches what you want. Check the price before you continue.
4. Enter the Number of Tickets
Enter how many tickets you want to buy.
For example, if you are buying for yourself, choose one ticket. If you are buying for friends, choose the number you need.
Before you confirm, make sure the number of tickets is correct. This helps you avoid paying for too many or too few tickets.
5. Enter and Confirm Your Details
The system may ask for your name, phone number, or other attendee details before payment.
Use the correct phone number because your ticket confirmation may be sent to that number. If the ticket is linked to your phone number, using the wrong number can make it harder to find your ticket later.
6. Pay with Mobile Money
After choosing your ticket, you will be asked to pay.
Mobile money is widely used in Ghana for daily payments, and event ticketing fits well into that habit. Ghana has also been recognized by the Bank of Ghana as a top country in mobile money regulation in the GSMA Mobile Money Regulatory Index 2025, which shows the country's strong mobile money environment.
Follow the payment prompt on your phone. You may need to approve the payment with your mobile money PIN.
Do not share your mobile money PIN with anyone. Aspec Hub, event organizers, and mobile money providers should never ask you to send your PIN in a message.
7. Receive Your Ticket Confirmation
After payment, you should receive your ticket confirmation.
Depending on the event setup, your ticket may come as:
- An SMS confirmation
- A ticket code
- A QR code ticket
- A digital ticket link
- A confirmation message linked to your phone number
Keep this ticket safe. You will need it at the event entrance.
What to Do Before Going to the Event
After buying your ticket with Aspec Hub USSD, take a few simple steps before event day.
Save Your Ticket Details
Save the SMS, code, link, or QR ticket. You can also take a screenshot if your ticket appears on a web page or message.
Charge Your Phone
Your phone may be needed at the gate for ticket checking. Charge it before leaving home.
Use the Same Phone Number
If your ticket is linked to your phone number, go to the event with the same number or phone. This can make check-in easier.
Arrive Early
Arriving early helps you avoid long lines, especially for concerts, church programs, campus events, and shows with large crowds.
